July 27, 2014: We are seeking participants in a small follow-up study to find which types of "earcons" (sounds conveying a message to the user) are most effective in devices which are used in noisy environments. Please take a few minutes to participate in this questionnaire and support our research effort!

June 1, 2014: The FaceSpeaker project was accepted for presentation at the ICCHP Young Researcher consortium . Here is the Extended abstract submitted to YRC . Thanks to the reviewers for their useful feedback!

we're starting a small follow-up project: FaceSpeaker with earcons as person identifiers ! In this project we will investigate if the verbal utterance of an identified person's name could be replaced or complemented by an earcon.
